The Faculty of Education (School of Primary Education & School of Early Childhood Education) of the Aristotle University of Thesssaloniki, the Department of Primary Education of the University of Thessaly, the group “Polydromo” and the NGO “PRAKSIS” invite you to participate in the international conference “Crossroad of languages and cultures: Learning beyond the classroom” which will be hosted on 8th - 10th April 2011 at the Tower of the Faculty of Education (10th floor) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
The conference is addressed to various group members who provide Greek as a second language courses to immigrants (adults and children) (first day of the Conference), to community members of immigrant associations who teach their own languages to children of second and third immigrant generation in Greece and to researchers in the field of bilingualism and language contact (second day) and to those interested in the Arabic language and culture in Greece (third day)
